Your function:

As an Area Account Manager you will plan and carry out commercial activities in line with our Nitto Product Portfolio and general sales strategy. You will build and strengthen new and existing commercial relationships in order to achieve the annual goals in terms of turnover, value, price and margins, all within your assigned area. In specific responsibilities this will be:

  • define an account plan in line with other commercial plans and in line with direct sales management
  • maintain relations with customers through regular field visits, to act as a business partner for assigned accounts and ensure that agreed follow-up actions are taken- Develop new customer relationships by detecting new business opportunities
  • pro-actively analyze customer’s product and service needs and monitor market developments
  • build and maintain relationships with internal and external customers (stakeholders)
  • you will report to the region sales manager

Your profile:

In this function we are looking for a candidate with a bachelor’s degree or technical education. Preferably you have relevant experience in a similar B2B sales function in a technical environment.

You are able to detect and analyze needs to ensure business growth. It speaks for itself that you are an excellent communicator (spoken and written) in English and that you have a pro-active work approach.

You find motivation in building a trusty relationship with your customers and you are able to think outside the box in order to increase sales and market penetration.

If you should have a similar sales experience in industrial tapes, protective films, polarizing films, … this is a huge advantage.
